What a great month of April, our Board continues to work feverishly to develop the infrastructure to build the organization. The demand for L.E.A.D. services is increasing on a daily basis. The Board was able to appoint a key individual this month to fill the position of Chair of the Drug and Violence Policy Advisory Board. We are honored that Dr. Zili Sloboda, President of Applied Prevention Science based in Ohio has accepted this prestigious position. We are looking forward to developing the most scientific group of international experts to ensure the high level of organizational goals and objectives. Welcome aboard Dr. Z!

Our new Mission and Vision Statement was finalized and highlighted in this Newsletter. Thank you to the Executive Board for taking the time to develop these positions and all the input from all of our Boards to ensure complete organization input and acceptance.

It is amazing that within one year of operation, we tripled our office space, retain a few new members of L.E.A.D. and have provided over $15,300,000 in in kind services. Wow! It would not happen without a total team approach and a commitment to serving our Youth and Communities to avoid Drugs, Bullying and Violence!

If you know anyone interested in becoming a member of any L.E.A.D. Board, please contact the office at 609-259-2500
