The 13th Annual CAFÉ Leadership Conference agenda is now online.  Check out the new features (and recognize the ongoing favorites!
 
Thursday, June 22, choose from one of FOUR hands-on master classes, followed by a gala opening night reception.  Also on Thursday afternoon, the National Pork Board cooking competition for instructors will be held between 12-5 p.m. with the winner being announced at the reception.
 
Friday, June 23rd, a full day of industry trends, including four rotations in kitchens, an InfoFair featuring resources for your classes, a special keynoter and a delicious lunch served at the new Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach, considered a premier facility and program.
 
Saturday, June 24th, is a day that starts out with Dr. Fred Mayo and his inspirational guidance on the use of personal and professional reflections in our classes, followed by a selection of 10 different peer presentations on educational best practices.  Another great lunch and an afternoon session on "When Barriers Become Pathways:  Reinventing Culinary Arts and Language Training presented by Syndia A. Nazario-Cardona and Chef Migdaliz Velez,  Universidad del Este-DC Campus)
 
The Conference awards ACF continuing education hours and is supported by our industry partners as well as our host, Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach.

NATIONAL PORK BOARD COOKING COMPETITION
 
Three chef instructors will be chosen to compete in Myrtle Beach.  FREE registration to the conference and a chance to wish cash prizes.  Get more information  Recipe submissions are due April 1.
