This year's College Knowledge Night was held at San Marcos High School on April 17th. We loved having our Promise Scholar volunteers at this yearly event, not only to give back to their community but also to serve as role models for future scholars! Throughout the evening students, teachers, and parents were gathering information about college, the process, and how higher education pathways lead to a bright future. Thank you to all who were involved and made this night successful! Pictures of the event are uploaded on our Facebook, click here!

Graphic Design Ambassador

Class of: 2019
School : Cal State San Marcos
Major: Arts & Technology
Education: San Marcos High School, San Elijo Middle School, Alvin Dunn Elementary
Impact of the Promise : The San Marcos Promise has not only given me the opportunity to attend college and mitigate some of the expenses I have to pay for (textbooks, parking, etc), but TSMP has given me mental and emotional support when I needed it. I'm not exactly the strongest in terms of mental fortitude, but at least I know that there are people besides my family that care about me as an individual and my high education.
Three words that would describe you: Creative, Spontaneous, Efficient
