The theme was Miami ‘64. In 1964 Jim Brown, Muhammad Ali, Sam Cooke and Malcolm X all got together, Ali had just fought in a boxing match against Sonny Liston. After defeating Liston, Ali chose to meet up with Brown, Malcolm X, and Sam Cook at a hotel in Miami called the Hampton House.
During this time America wasn’t very accepting of African-Americans or minorities at the time. Therefore, the four influential men chose to speak about ways to shape the world into a better place. Remy Martin toasted to the ability to tell our own narratives & be the keepers of our own stories. The Garner Circle PR produced this event.
