As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, January 21st in observance of MLK Jr. Day. If your family is looking for something fun to do on Monday, our PTA is hosting Spirit Day/Night at Pin Stack in Allen. No school on Monday, January 21st...Join the LES PTA for Spirit Day at Pin Stack (Allen Location) from 11:00 am - Midnight. NEW! UIL for 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade
Lovejoy Elementary students will have the opportunity to participate in the UIL (University Scholastic League) competition this year. Events will be held on April 1st and April 5th. Please check your child's Thursday Folder for detailed information and registration form.

1st Grade Music Program
The LES 1st Grade will proudly present a Music Class Demonstration on Thursday, January 24th at 6:30 pm in the LES Gym. Please join us for a brief, but meaningful program showcasing songs, games, and performances from our Music Classes. Students will report to the music room at 6:15 pm. 4th Grade Bump Up Day to SCIS

Box Tops: Due February 15th!
Just a reminder to send in Box Tops with your child! Please put them in a baggie with your child's name and teacher's name. We are in full swing of our second class competition which will be coming to an end in February. Every Box Top you send earns 10 cents for Lovejoy Elementary. Lovejoy Offers Group Counseling
Lovejoy is offering group counseling for students for a variety of areas. The groups will meet weekly, during school hours, and will be facilitated by Lovejoy's Social Worker, Noelle Gove, LCSW. The overall goal of the counseling groups is to address student's social/emotional needs that may be impacting their experience and success at school. Groups are being offered, based on need, to every campus in the district, grades K-12.
Toy Drive Benefiting the Children of Little Leopards
The Lovejoy High School Work-Based Learning program is accepting new to gently used toys for children birth - 5 years of age. Examples of items needed are as follows:
