Dear Lovejoy Families,

I hope that this email finds you safe and healthy.  I definitely miss our students, teachers, and staff.  Your child's smile and hug definitely brighten my day.  Please give your child an "extra" hug from Mrs. Craft.

If your family is like ours, you are trying to navigate a new "normal" as you continue to work from home - or in some cases continue to work away from home - while also meeting the needs of your children. You may be trying to develop some sort of routine after a week long Spring Break of fun and sleeping in. Let me be the first to say that you are not alone and it isn't easy! Schedules are important and children need routine, but give yourselves some time to get in the groove. We still haven't found that groove in our home, but it will come in good time.

Dr. Goddard has been providing us with the big updates daily around 5:00. Please let me know if you are not receiving these updates and I will get you connected. At the campus level, we are excited to reconnect with you and your children. We have spent this week ensuring our teachers have what they need and are prepared to go on this new journey of online learning. They are more than ready and excited to begin next week!

To ensure we provide the appropriate supports for at-home learning, please take a few minutes to complete the following forms due by Friday, March 20th at 5 p.m . This timeframe will allow our technology team to have the information they need to coordinate a disbursal system next week.

Your students may have already begun to receive special notes and videos from their teachers. They really just want you to know they are ready to see them and to begin interacting with them. Next week, teachers will be reaching out each of YOU with a personal phone call, just to connect and check-in. We look forward to "leaping" into at-home learning with our Leopard families!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft
