January 28, 2021
Dear Lovejoy Families,

We were honored to recognize SaraJane Mueth today as our Heart of the Teacher recipient for the month of January. Mrs. Mueth builds strong relationships with all of her students, and she has a unique gift of understanding students' strengths and weaknesses to determine exactly what they need in order to grow as learners. She works tirelessly to create engaging lessons for her students, and she continues to better her craft each day. We are blessed to have Mrs. Mueth as part of the Lovejoy Elementary campus.

Last week, while Trustee Anne Smith was visiting our campus she was interviewed for the announcements. Click here for a brief clip of her interview where she shared how serving on the school board ties into our Graduate Profile, why it is important, and different ways our students can serve our community. We appreciate Mrs. Smith and all of the Lovejoy ISD Trustees for their service.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel to contact me at any time.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft

Athletic Tickets
There has been some confusion in regards to ticket sales, as in the past all students and staff have been allowed in free to all athletic contests (with school ID).  Due to UIL covid-19 attendance capacity limitation regulations we are forced to charge for entrance to all athletic contests for all staff and students. The tickets sales assist the athletic department in keeping with the capacity limitations required of us. If you have questions, please contact the Lovejoy Athletic Office.
