May 26, 2021
Dear Lovejoy Families,

I can't believe that we are wrapping up the end of the 2020 - 2021 school year. The next two days will be very busy, and we wanted to send this out early so you will be prepared.

A big thank you to our PTO for hosting the End of Year Bash. Our PTO has worked extremely hard to ensure that our students will have an amazing celebration tomorrow. We look forward to the afternoon of fun in the sun, and who knows, students might have the opportunity to dunk me in the Dunking Booth.

We are also excited to celebrate our students on Friday at our last Leopard Live. If students are face to face, then they will be allowed to attend this event in the gym. Our virtual learners will still have the opportunity to watch Leopard Live through a Zoom webinar. This link will be sent home to you by your child's teacher. Please note that we are NOT recording this event; therefore, everyone needs to either watch via Zoom at 8:05 or attend live at the Lovejoy Elementary gym.

In closing, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your continued support. It has been an honor to serve as the principal of Lovejoy Elementary for the past six years. Each student, parent, and teacher has touched my heart in some way, and I have treasured our time together. I know that our students will love their new schools and will be set up for success. If you are going to be transitioning to Puster next year, please know that you are in great hands under Mrs. Haynes' leadership. If you are going to Hart, I look forward to seeing you next year. If you need anything over the summer no matter where you are attending, please reach out, and I will be more than happy to assist you.

I hope that you have a happy and safe summer creating lifelong memories with your families. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft
