November 19, 2020
Dear Lovejoy Families,

We hope that you will be able to join us for Leopard Live tomorrow morning. The link will be sent to all families through Seesaw or Google Classroom on Friday morning.

The window for selecting your child's learning environment for the third quarter will open tomorrow, November 20th, through December 7th. If you are not making a change in your selection, there is not action required on your part.

I just wanted to take a moment and share how grateful I am for each of you. I am incredibly blessed to serve this community, and it is a honor to be a small part of your child's life. A big thank you to all of YOU who took time to write a note to our staff. This small gesture means the world to us and touches our heart. I hope that you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving creating lifelong memories. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday, November 30th where we will continue growing ALL minds and hearts.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

All My Best,
Wendy Craft

Supporting Lovejoy Elementary!
The LES PTO deserves a huge THANK YOU for helping to partner with our Library to purchase a new poster printer for the school to replace the fourteen year old poster maker!  This poster printer will help teachers create instructional posters and anchor charts for their classrooms to enhance the learning experience for our students.

We also want to thank our amazing PTO and our LES Parents for buying all staff members a School Wide T-shirt. Our staff loves them and appreciate your continued support! It is a great time to be a Leopard.

Stay Safe Over the Holidays

Another important piece is washing your hands and using hand sanitizer. Please continue being diligent with these health and safety practices. Stay Well!

The routing updates will impact all bus routes. All families who are eligible for service or have confirmed fee-based service will need to visit the Bus Route website before Monday, November 30th, for updated route numbers, pick up and drop off times.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Transportation Department at 469-742-8009 or via email at
Athletic Tickets
There has been some confusion in regards to ticket sales, as in the past all students and staff have been allowed in free to all athletic contests (with school ID).  Due to UIL covid-19 attendance capacity limitation regulations we are forced to charge for entrance to all athletic contests for all staff and students. The tickets sales assist the athletic department in keeping with the capacity limitations required of us. If you have questions, please contact the Lovejoy Athletic Office.
Need Technology Help?
If you are experiencing any issues with your technology or need assistance, please call the Technology Help Desk.
