It’s the season to celebrate and give thanks.

Not because everything is right in the world. It clearly is not. But despite the news and the continuing tragedies and injustices still to be faced we have so much to be thankful for. We celebrate, not because we’ve arrived, but because we are still able to fight!

Let’s celebrate Democratic wins in 2018, 2020, 2022 and so many just this year (CO, FL, IL, KY, LA, NJ, OH, VA, WI)! Let’s celebrate Biden’s accomplishments that are so numerous it’s best just to link to them HERE. Let’s celebrate the healthiest grassroots activist corps in the history of America. Let’s celebrate Dark Brandon showing up yesterday in Colorado to throw shade on Boebert for touting legislation she voted against. Let’s celebrate Rosalynn Carter’s inspiring life of public service and love.

Let’s celebrate our family and friends and the strangers who let us merge into traffic.

Let’s celebrate all of you – you donors and volunteers who have been wholly responsible for the soon-to-be-five-years of amazing partisan voter registration successes. Come celebrate with us December 5th HERE!

Yes, Giving Tuesday is every day! After all, there's no bad time to save our Democracy, and nothing looks better in holiday gift wrap than a freshly registered voter. Thanks to your donations, Field Team 6 reached out to 5 million unregistered, likely Democrats during the 2022 cycle, and ONE IN THREE registered as Democrats or progressive independent voters – that's 1,687,446 new voters we helped add to the rolls in swing states for the midterm cycle.

HO-HO-HOST A FIELD TEAM 6-MAS PARTY!

If we want to win it all in ‘24, we need to register all the Democrats we can. How do we do that? One fantabulous way is to raise funds and awareness of Field Team 6! That’s why our founder Jason Berlin is hellbent on holding 20 – yes, twenty – friend-raiser meetings on Zoom by the end of the year! And here it is, almost December, with six down and just 14 to go!

Of course, to make these parties sing, we need hosts with the mosts, and that's where you come in! Hosting is simple: just think of one to five friends (that’s it!) who are engaged in politics and might want to help, pick a date (or two), and we’ll set up a Zoom! Jason will do a 10-minute pitch for Field Team 6, our achievements, our ‘24 plans, and how you and your friends can help by donating (or volunteering), and will answer all questions. And that’s it! A meeting usually lasts 30 minutes, or you can always bring your own zoom egg nog and keep the fun going!

TODAY, NOVEMBER 30: GRASSROOTS LEADERS FORUM – BURNOUT AND SUSTAINABILITY with J&S!

But sometimes it feels like every win is just the beginning of another battle, and it can be exhausting to keep up the fight. So how do we sustain our excitement and avoid burnout? Volunteers are our lifeblood! Sometimes we need to call them to whisper sweet reminders. "We need you...come back to us..." This new, weekly re-engagement phonebank is to call BYOP textbankers who successfully sent texts but then got caught up in other things. Our first mission? We wanna tell 'em all about the improved BYOP program! Our Big Vision: get 1,000 people sending 100 free texts a day, so we are sending 100,000 free texts a day. Back in 2021, we asked ourselves, “Why can’t we text for free?!” A little spit & baling wire later, and BYOP texting was born! Deb Verla started weekly BYOP trainings, more people joined over time, and to date we’ve sent hundreds of thousands of free texts! But even that was only the beginning, because two genius super volunteers created a whole new Chrome extension that is more stable, easier to use, and has some neat functions, like tracking the number of texts you’ve sent! In the 2022 cycle we had 13 million unregistered, likely Democrats in our database. We were able to reach 5 million, which is a lot, but with more partnerships, we can do even more!
