LFA Embarks on Athletics Expansion Project
The Academy is excited to expand its indoor athletics facilities. Read more about the school's largest capital project to date, which will double the size of our indoor sports facilities.

The new center, which will sit to the west of the Crown Fitness & Wellness Center, will include three basketball courts, a running track, squash courts, and a workout room, among other amenities.

If you are interested in supporting this project, please contact Garry Sloan, assistant dean of advancement. And please join us at the Gala on April 29, where we will rally around this project and raise funds to support the construction!
Annual YA-Student Networking Night
One of the highlights of the alumni engagement program at LFA is the opportunity to connect alumni with current students for career networking purposes.

On Wed., March 8, we will host the Josh Rothstein Young Alumni-Student Networking Night at LFA. We have an impressive line-up of alumni ready to chat with students about college and careers. Our nine alumni represent the fields of medicine, consulting, tech, law, film, VC, sports and entertainment, and finance.

Read more about networking night here. This event is named in honor and memory of Josh Rothstein '05, who died during his sophomore year at LFA. This year marks the 9th annual celebration of this special event.

Our alumni and their children (and grandchildren) enjoyed a special Saturday morning performance of Seussical the Musical at LFA on Feb. 11. Legacies Don’t Just Happen…They’re Planned!
The Caxy Legacy Challenge, fueled by Sheri Kersch Schultz '72 (Ferry Hall alumna and 2022 Woman of Distinction honoree) and LFA Trustee David Gupta '81 (LFA alumnus and 2021 LFA Hall of Famer), provides immediate challenge funds to individuals who create a new bequest commitment or who verify an existing bequest through documentation. Challenge dollars are directed toward a current fund of the donor's choosing. Eligible estate gift commitments of $50,000 or more unlock 10% of the gift's face value from the challenge pool, up to a maximum of $10,000.

Estate gifts strengthen the LFA endowment, providing stability for the school's future. Endowment funds provide essential resources for student financial aid, faculty professional development and other designated purposes. Click the link to learn more about the Caxy Legacy Challenge or visit LFA's gift planning webpage at lfa.givingplan.net.
