Greetings!
Happy summer! As our fiscal year draws to a close (June 30), we hope you will support the annual fund at LFA. We are just $20,000 away from our goal of $1.6 million.
While we enjoyed many successes at LFA this school year, we also had unexpected expenses, including high energy/utility costs and the need to rent off-campus quarantine space for boarding students who contracted COVID-19.
Your support will help us meet and exceed our annual fund goal. We have some convenient ways to give, including Venmo and Paypal! Please help us finish the year strong.
I hope to see you this summer or fall at one of our alumni events, where we will celebrate Chris Tennyson in his new role as head of school at LFA. And don't forget to join us for Alumni Weekend & Reunion, Sept. 23-24. See below for details; registration will open soon!

Thank you, José M. De Jesús
As Head of School José M. De Jesús departs LFA after three years at the helm, we wish him all the best in his new role as Head of School at The Dalton School in New York City, effective July 1. José was an exemplary leader at LFA and served the Academy during a time of tremendous challenge. While we will miss seeing him on a daily basis, we know he will always be a part of the LFA community as an alumni parent (Bela '22)! Thank you, Jose, for all you did for LFA. We will miss you and your family enormously.

Give Later; Impact NOW!
For most individuals, gift planning represents the opportunity to make their most significant philanthropic investment. One reason many people hesitate is that the impact of their gift comes after their lifetime.
But there’s a solution!
The Caxy Legacy Challenge creates the opportunity to make a significant gift after your lifetime while seeing an immediate impact. When you document your intentions with LFA, you unlock funds from a challenge pool that you direct toward an area of your choosing—financial aid; professional development; area of greatest need…the choice is up to you.
For details and more information on the Caxy Legacy Challenge, click the link or contact a member of our Advancement Team:
