Alumnus Named to Forbes "30 Under 30" List

Congratulations to alumnus Brandon Amoroso '15, who was named to Forbes "30 Under 30 Local Miami 2023" list for his success as an e-commerce entrepreneur. Brandon founded Electriq, a marketing agency he scaled to 45 team members and a successful exit in April 2022 to DRINKS.com, where he now serves as President. And good luck to Brandon and his brother Parker '19 as they embark on a new start-up HR business, SCALIS, that launches this year. Brandon spoke to students in LFA's entrepreneurship class in April 2022. Read the Forbes piece here.

Alumna Named to STL Business Journal "Inno Under 25" List

Multicultural Connections

In addition to the popular and longstanding Multicultural Dialogue during Reunion, this year we will offer a Multicultural Connections event to further conversation between alumni of color and students of color. It will be hosted by members of the Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) and Black Alumni Advisory Council (BAAC) along with several other alumni, and will take place at 11:30 a.m., immediately following the Dialogue.

If you are interested in participating in this gathering, please register through the Reunion website or contact Ruth Keyso at rkeyso@lfanet.org 847.615.3268

Thank you to the following alumni who are helping to host this gathering: Elizabeth Alicea '98 (AAB/BAAC), Mghnon Martin '05 (BAAC), Johnnie Johnson '01, P'25, '26 (BAAC), Felicia Houston '90 (BAAC), Nancy Wang '13 (AAB), Jaime Hermosillo '07 (AAB), Malcolm Chaka '15, and Jessica Anderson '10.

Club Fair

A harbinger of fall: the annual Club Fair at LFA. Nearly 80 clubs gathered throughout Reid and Corbin on Sept. 8 to encourage student involvement. From the Investment Club to the Harlow Society, from the Black Student Union to Pre-Law, the variety of clubs available to students expands every year.

On occasion, students request alumni speakers at their club meetings. If you have knowledge or expertise in a particular area and are interested in speaking with students, please let me know. Thank you!
