At the beginning of June, LGBT Meeting Professionals Association partnered with PCMA to bring DE&I programming, brought you you by Marriott International.
Some of the courses LGBT MPA produced were, The Business Case for Diversity, EIDB: Inclusive Event Strategies, and our panel discussion, Rolling Out the Rainbow Carpet: Creating Welcome Destinations!
Our panelists, Maria Grasso, Jason Dunn Sr., and Rory G. Archibald, and our moderator, Chase Brunson, CMP had a enlightening and informative discussion on what their destinations are doing to be more inclusive and welcoming as well as what strategies other destinations can utilize in their own cities! Creating welcoming destinations is essential and inclusion matters!
