LGBT MPA Board Member, Lipian Mtandabari, Awarded the First International LGBTQ+ Travel Association Foundation Scholarship

Lipian Mtandabari, LGBT MPA Board Member and Managing Director of Ntsako Travel Africa, has been awarded the first International LGBTQ+ Travel Association Foundation Scholarship in February 2022! This scholarship will allow Lipian to pursue a master's level program at CETT, the School of Tourism, Hospitality, and Gastronomy at the University of Barcelona!

Seating at the helm of Africa’s Exclusive Pan African LGBTQ+ Travel Company – Ntsako Travel Africa, Lipian has a strong passion for tourism and promoting equality through travel. Ntsako Travel Africa’s primary philosophy is to sell southern Africa as an emerging destination for LGBTQ+ travel segment. In addition to promoting destination Africa, Ntsako Travel Africa is actively involved in capacitating, developing and transitioning the service industry to embrace LGBTQ+ travel and become LGBTQ+ inclusive.

Being Sustainable is Good for Business

Lollipop Forest is located in the mountain ranges in the Usambara Mountain Ranges in Tanzania. This region was deforested by large State-owned logging companies with no regard for the environment. What was once a rain forest is now close to being arid. Replanting trees in this region is good for the environment but will also provide fruit that can be harvested by local families.
