LGH alumni and current class members, join us for our upcoming professional development workshop: Navigating Difficult DE&I Conversations in the Workplace. This interactive training will equip you with essential skills and strategies to handle challenging discussions around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) in a professional setting. The focus will be on fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace where even the most difficult topics can be addressed constructively. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to grow as a leader and create a more inclusive environment!


This workshop is facilitated by Cassie N. Shropshire. Cassie is a qualified and experienced mental health professional based in Alabama. With 10 years of experience in the field, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Cassie has dedicated her career to helping individuals with disabilities and mental health issues, working as a therapist, consultant, and trainer.


Our professional development workshops are open to dues-paying alumni members and current class members.

Join us for a 12@12 with Alison Kling, L-36, CEO at Free2 Teach. Alison is passionate about investing in teachers so that they can equip and inspire every child in their classroom. Alison started her career in education as an elementary school teacher in New York City Public Schools with Teach for America. In addition to her undergraduate work, she holds a Master’s in Education (M.S.) from Hunter College and a Master’s of Divinity (M.Div.) from Princeton Theological Seminary as well as a certificate in Forced Migration Studies from Oxford University.


Alison is a graduate of Leadership Flagship Class L-36 (#bestclassever). She and her husband, David, live in Huntsville with their four children, George, Teddy. Jack and Lucy.
