Legacy Challenge for the Future of Lake George

2024 Legacy Challenge

The LGLC is excited to announce that Manning and Ginny Rowan Smith have generously offered a matching challenge to build our legacy program, the Land and Water Society. Legacy giving, also called planned giving, is a commitment made by an individual through their will or other estate planning designation.

For each new legacy pledge received by the LGLC, the Smiths will donate $5,000 to the LGLC, up to a total of $324,000!

Through this Challenge, your legacy gift will make a positive impact on Lake George that will last beyond your lifetime AND your pledge will allow us to do more, today, to permanently protect land and the water quality of Lake George.
