Protecting the Land that Protects the Lake since 1988

LGLC News for June 2025

Now Available: LGLC Spring/Summer Newsletter

Coming to mailboxes soon, the LGLC's spring/summer issue of viewsheds is also now available online! (Best if viewed on a tablet or larger screen.) The document can also be downloaded as a PDF.

This issue spotlights our 2025 Land Campaign, the largest fundraising effort in LGLC history. The Campaign will protect more than 1,200 acres of land, including the 517-acre Pilot Knob Mountain, and more than 700 acres of land in Bolton. These lands contain critical conservation features like streams, wetlands, steep slopes and ridgelines, all of which work to protect the water quality of Lake George.

Plus, read about our recently completed conservation and water quality protection projects, Schumann Preserve gazebo progress, LOTS of events, and the people who make it all possible.
