STUDENTS GIVING BACK
Students in 7th grade science are giving back.  They recently researched an endangered species and created a variety of projects to share the information with their classmates.  They shared simple changes that we can make to help save endangered species from going extinct.  As part of their study, students also raised money to symbolically adopt 7 different species through the World Wildlife Fund.

KINDNESS CHALLENGE UPDATE
We are pleased to report that due to our LGMS involvement in the 2017  #GreatKindnessChallenge, we are now a Kindness Certified School. More than 10,493,866 students in 15,057 schools in 91 countries participated in the Great Kindness Challenge this year. What a great opportunity for our LGMS students to be involved in this global kindness movement!
FAMILY SCIENCE NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS!
Our 2017 Lake Geneva Schools Family Science night, held Feb. 7, was a wonderful success!

More than 275 children and their families attended and enjoyed exciting (and sometimes gooey) hands-on science activities and experiments led by Lake Geneva Schools teachers and guest presenters, including Dr. Paul House, chemistry prof. at UW-Whitewater.

The event concluded with a thrilling science and chemistry show performed by Badger High School chemistry teachers (a.k.a. The Lake Geneva Science Guys) Mr. Barry Mess & Mr. Aaron Burg.

This was a great family event and way for our district to engage our school families and community in fun, educational activities.

Thanks to everyone who attended! And a BIG thank you to all of our teachers and staff who led activities, experiments and made this evening possible.

PTO TEACHERS OF THE WEEK
PTO Teachers of the Week are Mrs. Pulokas and Mrs. DeBeare. Congratulations!!!

Mrs. Pulokas: She makes my day every time I go into that classroom. She always has something fun planned for us and she always finds us a good challenge. She knows how to push each and every one of us to succeed. I have deep respect for her. –Connor

Mrs. DeBaere: In class she makes things fun, such as, showing a video after a warm-up that makes things easier to understand. Also, she teaches really well and I have learned a lot from her this year. –Carson

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
