Anne Rookey, LGSO Supporter
This work is so inspiring. We were supposed to do this with the Madison Symphony Chorus (that I sing in) and MSO this May. Unfortunately, we can't now. Hopefully next year. I've been working on it at home a lot. The soprano solo lines are so gorgeous in the Kyrie. The words in Latin Kyrie, Eleison mean "Lord, Have mercy" in English. It is the perfect prayer and meditation for this difficult time we are all going through.

This Norwegian singer brings such joy to my heart every time I listen to her. Her crystal clear, beautiful lyrical voice, smile, and angelic quality is rapturous. This song, You Raise Me Up, is a constant reminder of the Light shining in the darkness, the Hope we have in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, to lift us up above all our troubles. It has brought new meaning to me during these dark times.
Just another incredibly lovely song by the young Sissel. A delight to the eyes and ears.
