Scouts BSA Unit Leaders and Parents:

We hope you and your family are finding ways to stay “physically strong and mentally awake” during these difficult times. COVID-19 has brought some unprecedented and uncertain times for everyone.

We would like to update you on our planning for the 2020 summer camp session. Please take a minute to watch the video below from Jason Pierce, Scout Executive/CEO and Sarah Flowers, Director of Program:
As you can see from the video, the health and safety of all our campers, leaders and summer camp staff is our primary concern. Our decision-making process on summer programming is being guided by health and safety experts.

Thank you for your patience as we work to review all options to ensure we can deliver a safe program for the summer. For those already registered for camp, we know you are excited to get outside and go to camp!

We are working hard and reviewing creative options to make this happen in a safe manner! For those that have not registered, go to our Scouts BSA Summer Camp page to get more information.

To help support our Troops and Scouts, we have:

  • Delayed payment deadlines to Monday, May 25, 2020.

  • Eliminated all late fees; everyone gets the discounted price this year

  • We have doubled our budget for camperships this summer to assist any family in need. No qualified request will be denied. Click here to apply

  • We will be giving full refunds to Scouts who are not able to attend Summer Camp.

Our goal is to provide an update on the 2020 summer camp season by the first week of May. We know you’ve been planning for an exciting summer camp and we remain committed to planning and preparing for the best and safest summer camp program for 2020.
