Winter Athletes Should Start Clearing for November 9th Deadline
basketball_closeup.jpg
Winter sports officially begin on November 18. If a student participated in a fall sport, they need to complete only Part D – Athletic Injury Emergency Information, the OCR Medical Information Card, and Part E – Alternative Transportation (optional). If a student did not participate in a fall sport, they will need to complete the entire athletic packet. Packets are available in the Loveland High athletic office or at www.lovelandindians.com . Please do not use a packet from another website. Jackie Anderson will be available from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. to clear students. Please have your student clear by Monday, November 11.

All athletes must register with Planet HS (instructions on cover page of clearance packet). If a student has already registered, do not register again. Each student should have only one account. Students who were out for a sport at LHS last year or this fall have an account.

Any transfer students who are planning to participate in a winter sport and have not completed the CHSAA transfer process need to see Mr. Stine, LHS Athletic Director, as soon as possible.
Congrats to JROTC Raiders for Challenge Success
Congratulations to the Loveland JROTC Raider Team. Their efforts earned them an overall second place finish at the University of Wyoming JROTC Raider Challenge on Saturday, October 12th. They bested all but one of approximately 30 teams from Montana, Wyoming and Colorado. The combined team members for this meet from left to right were: CPT and senior Jordan Gilbert, sophomore Faith Palmer, freshman Seth Menard, sophomore Don Woods and freshman Emma Dubovos (not pictured). Their next competitive meet will be at Denver North High School on Saturday, November 2nd - come root them on!
Students Need Parking Permits

LHS requires permits to park in the school lots. This helps the campus monitors determine who attends LHS and who does not when the parking lots are being monitored. Students who plan to drive to LHS to attend classes can get a parking permit from the campus monitor office.

There is  no charge  for a permit .
