*NEW* Business Interruption Insurance Lawsuit – We heard from the NYC Hospitality Alliance that the law firm Jenner & Block filed a lawsuit in NYS Supreme Court in Brooklyn on behalf of a diverse group of restaurants, bars, and hospitality companies seeking business interruption coverage during COVID-19 from each of their insurers (

*NEW* 8/20: Webinar on New York Forward Loan Fund - The New York Forward Loan Fund (NYFLF) is a new economic recovery loan program aimed at supporting New York State small businesses, including Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs)**, nonprofits, and small landlords that have been excluded by other relief and recovery efforts, as they reopen after the COVID-19 outbreak and NYS on PAUSE. Empire State Development will host a webinar on this program with opportunity for Q&A with the presenters.
