LICP Annual Meeting Recap
This morning we held our LIC Partnership Annual Meeting where we reviewed our accomplishments over the past year. discussed plans for the future, and elected directors of the Board.

We also formally released our 2020 LICP Annual Report where you can go to learn more about our accomplishments over the past year, especially as we pivoted to become a resource for COVID-19 updates and support.

There's Still Time to Participate! Holiday Decoration Competition
This holiday season we are hosting a Holiday Decoration Competition for LIC businesses! The competition will run from through the end of December. The public will vote by scanning a QR code at your location and selecting their favorite display to vote for.

Remix Market NYC has generously offered a 30% discount to participating businesses to purchase any decorations they would like to use in the competition. To use this discount, let us know and stay tuned for additional details.

Participating businesses and those voting will be entered into a raffle to win 2 roundtrip JetBlue tickets.

COVID-19 Updates
*NEW* Snow Alert Issued Starting TODAY at 2pm, Roadside Dining Temporarily Suspended - Starting TODAY at 2pm, Roadside Dining has been temporarily suspended due to the snow alert. During this alert:
  • Diners may not sit in roadway setups. Restaurants should remove or secure any tables and chairs in the roadway.
  • All electrical heaters in roadway must be removed.
  • If possible, restaurants should remove any overhead coverings, or regularly remove the snow from overhead coverings until the snow alert ends.

*NEW* Free Digital Ordering Platform – Governor Cuomo announces a new Empire State Digital initiative that will give restaurants and food service establishments access to free online ordering and delivery app. Businesses who join Ritual ONE through March 31, 2021 will have their commission, credit card processing fees, and subscription fee waved. *NEW* Main Street America Small Business Relief Campaign - Over the past six months, Main Street America has been advocating to Congress for federal funding for Main Street coordinating and local programs.
