7th Annual LIC Summit - Recap
Yesterday, LIC Partnership held our virtual 7th Annual LIC Summit: Community through Crisis with over 150 in attendance. Our two panels explored the lasting effects of COVID-19 and how different sectors worked independently, as well as collaboratively, to recover during this crisis.

Our Keynote Panel discussed navigating this crisis to create opportunity while our Resiliency Panel discussed how different industries have pivoted to face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Public Workshops for LIC Public Realm Improvements
NYC DOT is hosting two virtual workshops to discuss public space and street
improvements for the Court Square neighborhood in Long Island City, Queens. The goals of these workshops is to identify strategies to increase street safety, discuss public space expansion, gather street design ideas and explore opportunities for street furniture.

LIC Holiday Decoration Competition!
This holiday season we are hosting a Holiday Decoration Competition for LIC businesses! The competition will run from through the end of December. The public will vote by scanning a QR code at your location and selecting their favorite display to vote for.

Remix Market NYC has generously offered a 30% discount to participating businesses to purchase any decorations they would like to use in the competition. To use this discount, let us know and stay tuned for additional details.

Participating businesses and those voting will be entered into a raffle to win 2 roundtrip JetBlue tickets.
