Calling All Restaurants! Sign Up Deadline for NYC Restaurant Week To Go is This Friday!
This year NYC & Company is offering their annual restaurant week will focus on orders to go and be free to participate!

More details below:
  • All restaurants are welcome and there is no participation fee. 
  • Restaurants will offer a specified meal—one entrée with at least one side—priced at $20.21. 
  • Delivery fees, tax and gratuity are in addition to that price. 
  • You may sell supplemental items in addition to the special meal.  
  • All dining establishments throughout NYC’s five boroughs are encouraged to register

Accompany Capital is awarding prizes to existing and start-up businesses in New York City that are breaking the mold post the COVID pandemic.
 
If you’re a woman-owned business in NYC that has innovated or pivoted to adapt to the current market conditions, you can enter toe to win one of several prizes valued up to $10,000.

Queens Conversation with Queens Borough President Donovan Richards
Tomorrow January 7th at 3pm the Queens Chamber of Commerce is hosting a conversation between Queens Borough President Donovan Richards and President and CEO of the Queens Chamber Thomas Grech. Borough President Richards will be sharing his thoughts on the significant issues facing our borough. The conversation will air live on QPTV.ORG, Facebook LIVE, Spectrum 34/1995, RCN 82, and Verizon FiOS 34.

COVID-19 Updates
*NEW* New Stimulus Package Announced - The latest Stimulus Package was signed into law by the President on December 27. The list below is a recap of the major items in the Package. The information is changing quickly, please continue to check our website for the most up-to-date information.

Individual stimulus checks
  • Direct payments of $600 for eligible individuals (including eligible dependents)
  • Official date of payment begins on January 4
Enhanced federal unemployment benefits
  • Extended for 11 weeks, up to $300 per week
Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
  • New round of PPP forgivable loans
  • Eligible businesses who received the first round of PPP can apply for a second round
  • Enhanced benefits for hotels and restaurants at 3.5 times 2019 average monthly payroll; benefit remains at 2.5 times for other businesses
  • PPP eligibility extended to include 501(c)(6) organizations
  • Expenses paid for with forgiven PPP funds will be deductible
Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)
  • New round of $10,000 EIDL Advance Grants
  • Eligible businesses will qualify for the full amount without the $1000 per employee cap
Grants for live venues and cultural institutions
  • $15 billion set aside with priority for businesses who experienced a revenue decrease of 70% or more
