COVID-19 Updates
*NEW* Outdoor Di ning Update: Tents Now Permitted - Today, July 10th, the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) issued a bulletin permitting the use of tents for restaurants offering outdoor dining services.Tents or other shelters that are on the sidewalk where the restaurants or bars have obtained approval through NYC Open Restaurant Program and are less than 400 SF each in area. Areas of multiple tents that are combined or are tied to each other cannot exceed 400 SF in total.  Click here to read more from NYC DOB.

Reopening Checklist - This week we launched our new COVID-19: Reopening Checklist as a tool for businesses to use as NYC moves towards reopening. This list is helpful for businesses opening today as a start of Phase 3 as well as businesses prepping for their reopening in a future phase. Join the Queens Borough President's Complete Count Committee and NYC Census 2020 for our phone bank Fridays! Sign up to encourage your fellow New Yorkers to fill out the census!

Using our predictive dialer tool, you will be able to call hundreds of New Yorkers in neighborhoods with the lowest self-response rates to date, and patch them through directly to the U.S. Census Bureau so they can fill out the census over the phone.

Artist Conversation with SculptureCenter

LICP Member SculptureCenter is hosting an artist conversation via Zoom. For this conversation, artists Qais Assali and David De Hannay are joined by filmmaker Jose Luis Benavides. The conversation is moderated by Kyle Dancewicz, Director of Exhibitions and Programs, SculptureCenter. They will be discussing Qais Assali's multi-year project  if you Like you can show my works in galleries.
