COVID-19 New Updates
*Stay Tuned* PPP Application Extension to August 4 Awaiting President's Signature – Congress passed a bill to extend the Paycheck Protection Program application deadline to August 4 th,, but it requires the President's signature. As a reminder, the loan forgiveness rules were relaxed in June to allow businesses to use at least 60% of the funds on payroll over a 24-week period. We encourage businesses who are still interested in accessing PPP funds to apply before the allocated funding is used up. Stay tuned on our social media for more information once the bill is official.

Open Streets: Restaurants Program - This week it was announced that NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio is combining the Open Restaurants with the Open Streets program on weekends during the summer. We are working on setting up an informational webinar to see if groups restaurants in our area are interested in participating. Here is a link to the program guidelines, and here is the link to apply. Please stay tuned for further information.

This list is helpful for businesses opening today as a start of Phase 2 as well as businesses prepping for their reopening in a future phase.
