COVID-19: New Updates
New Tri-State Travel Advisory - New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, alo ngside New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, has announced joint travel advisory requiring all visitors from states with significant community spread to quarantine themselves for 14 days upon arrival. Sales Tax Remittance Abatement Extended - NYS has extended the sales tax remittance abatement until July 21st.  Those seeking this relief must apply here.

Extension of Off-Premise Service and Consumption of Alcohol - Off-premise service and consumption of alcoholic beverages and take out/delivery being allowed for entities with a liquor license has been extended until July 18th. Read more here. 

Expansion of Open Streets Program - New York City has announced that they are expanding the Open Streets Program to add 23 more miles of open space in the areas hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis. Click here for more information.

Virtual Q&A with NYC DOT - On Tuesday we held a virtual Q&A session with NYC Department of Transportation to answer questions on the Open Restaurants program that began with Phase 2 of reopening in NYC. Here is a great list of resource links provided in the presentation that may be able to assist with your questions.

Residential Street Cleanings - This week Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYC Department of Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia have announced the end of twice-weekly street cleanings. Beginning Monday, June 29, the City will resume ASP regulations for one week. Going forward, residential streets will be cleaned no more than once per week. Click here to read the full release.

Reopening Checklist - This week we launched our new COVID-19: Reopening Checklist as a tool for businesses to use as NYC moves towards reopening. This list is helpful for businesses opening today as a start of Phase 2 as well as businesses prepping for their reopening in a future phase.
