Q: When did you join LIFT and Why?

A: I joined the LIFT in October of 2021. I was born and raised here in Jackson and after serving in the military for 32 years I returned home and have been here since. I believe everyone should have regular physical exercise and for me personally the access to the steam room and sauna was something that I was really looking for. When I saw that LIFT had everything I was looking for, I knew it was where I needed to be!


Q: What do you like best about LIFT Wellness Center?

A: By far the LIFT is the cleanest fitness facility I have been to. I never feel as though the level of cleanliness drops and that it wonderful considering how many people come through here each day! The steam and sauna are wonderful. Living with arthritis makes simple things real tough. I have found the steam room and sauna to be a wonderful tool to help manage my arthritis and maintain an active lifestyle.


Q: What advice would you give someone who is thinking about joining LIFT?

A: You won’t find a place with more comradery than LIFT! You not only will have access to great equipment and a clean facility, but you will be in a place where people care and want to be your friend. That is something that is hard to find, but I have found it here at LIFT.

Hello everyone! My name is Natalie Idzik. I am thrilled to be working with the LIFT Weight Management Program as the HMR Administrative Manager. I have worked with HMR for over 20 years, and have helped many, many people lose weight, while improving their health and quality of life.  In addition to working with HMR, I am a busy mom of two children, and love spending time outdoors walking, hiking, fishing, or playing pickleball! I would love the opportunity to support you with your weight and health goals, so please don't hesitate to reach out!

Pumpkin Pie Dip


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 HMR 70 Plus Vanilla Shake
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 Tbs sugar-free brown sugar cinnamon syrup
  • 2 Tbs fat-free whipped topping
  • 1 apple, sliced


DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, mix together 70 Plus Vanilla pudding, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and sugar free syrup.
  2. Fold in whipped topping.
  3. Use as a dip with sliced apples.
