Candace and Meagan recently acquired their Lifeguard Instructor Certification. They can now train new lifeguards and   re-certify current lifeguards in our community.

Must be in Childcare by 5:15pm

KIDS KLIMB
Kid's Klimb will be open to Members' Kids and Grandkids only. 


We donate to a global charity every month Sweat Angels! Every time you check in on Facebook at LIFT Wellness Center, you are donating to a global cause! 
(see below for this month's charity)

We also donate exclusively to local charities through the events we have such as the Halloween Dance-a-thon that benefits the The Dream Center!
Basketball Play
Members, please remember basketball play is only for Members. Your guest cannot play basketball even if they are with you. 

Also the gym will be closed to basketball play on
Mondays 5:00pm-6:15pm due to classes & activities in the gym. 

Full court basketball play is
Tuesdays & Thursdays only 7:30pm-9:45pm. 

ALL Members must wear a BLUE arm band to play basketball. These arm bands are issued at the front desk! 


We want to say Congratulations to our LIFT Weight Management Educator for taking the next step in her career! We are thankful for the time you spent at LIFT Wellness Center and we wish you nothing but the best! We will miss you Courtney!

Member Spotlight
Sarah Toone
Sarah has been a LIFT member for almost 3 years! She started LIFT due to having some health problems and she wanted to overcome them! Since joining LIFT, Sarah has lost 130lbs, been able to stop taking her medications and she's able to get our more! 
Sarah enjoys getting to spend time with her grand children and staying active & losing weight has helped her be able to stay on the go! 
When Sarah commits to something, she doesn't stop until she's finished! 

We are so proud of Sarah and her success! Way to GO!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

National Massage Therapy Week

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The CDC reports that many factors over the course of a lifetime can influence your breast cancer risk. You can't change some factors, such as getting older or your family history, but you can help lower your risk of breast cancer by taking care of your health in the following ways:
 
Staying healthy throughout your life will lower your risk of developing cancer, and improve your chances of surviving cancer if it occurs.

This October, every 3 check-ins at LIFT Wellness Center will help provide 1 woman access to a breast cancer risk assessment. We're working with Causely and Bright Pink to make it happen. You can add #breastcancerawareness when you check in to promote the cause. For more information about this month's charity, check out brightpink.org

Aquatics
  • The lap pool will be closed on October 20th 11am-3pm for the Dream Center Cardboard Boat Regatta
  • The lap pool will be closed on October 27th 8am-1pm for the Therapy & Learning Center iCan Tri






CLOSINGS

  • The hot tub will be closed for maintenance every Thursday 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM for back-washing and cleaning.
  • The men's steam room will be closed from 2pm-2:30pm for daily cleaning.
  • The women's steam room will be closed from 2:30-3:00pm daily for cleaning. 
  • The basketball gym and 2 lanes of the lap pool will be closed on Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM for SWIM/GYM (Homeschool program) 
  • Basketball gym will be closed to basketball play on Mondays 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM
  • Basketball gym will be closed (including ROGUE equipment) every other Wednesday 7pm-9pm for Volleyball. 
  • The lap pool will be closed on October 20th 11am-3pm
