Employee Spotlight


Peggy Bogard

Peggy has been with Lift since 2013.  She is a certified Yoga instructor and teaches 2 classes a week.  Her background is in nursing. Peggy is always a big help, subbing anytime someone needs it.  She is a great team player!  Peggy is extremely punctual and makes it a priority to engage with members, ask about their personal needs for classes, and listen/answer any concerns they may have.  Peggy is always 100% devoted to providing a class that is tailored to meet everyone's specific needs.  Peggy is our Yoga lead a Lift Wellness Center. 

We are thankful for Peggy and all that she does for our Members & Guests at LIFT.

KIDS KLIMB
Kid's Klimb will be open to Members' Kids and Grandkids only.

Basketball Play

Members,
 
Tuesday, September 4, will be the last day that LIFT offers full-court basketball play. 

Please remember that half-court play and shooting are reserved for members only and will be limited to the Rockwall Side of the gymnasium. Please note that basketball play and shooting may be subject to restriction during special events or when other scheduled activities are happening in the multi-purpose gymnasium.
 
ALL Members must wear a BLUE arm band to play basketball. These arm bands are issued at the front desk! 

SWIM/GYM
(Homeschool PE program)

What is SWIM/GYM? Swim/Gym is a PE type class that gets kids moving! We play games, climb the rockwall, swim and have a great time!

Two lanes of the lap pool & the basketball gym will be closed on
Tuesday and Thursdays 1:00pm -2:00pm for 
Swim/ Gym

Volleyball
We will be having "open" Volleyball on every other Wednesday nights 7pm-9pm. Open to Members only. The gym will be totally closed 7pm-9pm. The rogue will not be open for use during this time.

Ozie Pearson


Ozie joined LIFT Wellness Center in November 2017. Ozie was tired of making excuses, he wanted to live longer and wanted to see his daughters grow up!

LIFT Members & Coworkers have kept Ozie motivated, along with his family noticing his weight going down! 

Ozie started LIFT weighing 503lbs, after 283 days of consistent exercise, diet and drinking water he's lost 134lbs! He enjoys steamed veggies, smoothies, meal prepping, drinking 2 gallons of water a day and baking his food! 

Ozie we are so proud of you for putting your health and wellness first! Congratulations on your success! Keep up the good work!

We were honored to celebrate your 100th birthday with you! 

During September, every 20 check-ins at LIFT Wellness Center will fund one minute of pediatric cancer care research. We're working with Causely and CureSearch to make it happen. CLOSINGS

  • The hot tub will be closed for maintenance every Monday 10am-11am for back-washing and cleaning. (starting September 10th) 
  • The men's steam room will be closed from 2pm-2:30pm for daily cleaning.
  • The women's steam room will be closed from 2:30-3:00pm daily for cleaning. 
  • The basketball gym and 2 lanes of the lap pool will be closed on Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM for SWIM/GYM (Homeschool program) 
  • Basketball gym will be closed to basketball play on Mondays 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM
  • Basketball gym will be closed (including ROGUE equipment) every other Wednesday 7pm-9pm for Volleyball.
