"I have come so that you may have abundant life." - John 10:10
Join these interactive conversations with actual Bible studies your family will get to do together during a Sunday evening devotion time — between dinner and your bedtime routine! Try out different ways to explore God’s Word, including shared reading, dramatic readings, puppets, and using simple objects from around your home to help Bible stories come alive for children. Each week you’ll connect with each other, with other families, and leave with practical ideas for how to use the Bible in everyday life. Facilitated by Beth Hamen and Erika Hiland on the Children, Youth & Family Ministry Team. Sundays, 7-7:30 p.m. (Nov. 8, 15, 22)

A lightning-quick overview of the Old and New Testaments through the lens of common misconceptions, assumptions, and outright blunders. For many people the Bible is just a little bit scary; it’s big, it’s long, and it’s serious business. Even for many of us raised on the Bible there are ways we think about the Bible that aren’t terribly helpful, things we think we know about the Bible that are quite right. the reality is that as familiar as the Bible may be to us, most of us don’t know the Bible nearly as well as we think we do. The three sessions of “Everything You Know About the Bible Is Wrong” will help us enter into reading the Bible and making sense of it for our daily living. Pastor Karl Jacobson, Pastor Sarah Breckenridge and Pastor Mike Carlson. Mondays at 7pm (Nov. 9, 16, 23)

Young adults (ages ~19-35) are invited to join Deacon Stephanie Anderson-Telschow and Intern Pastor Amy Mihelich Smith as we explore scripture's purpose as both an ancient roadmap for charting the wilderness and as God's way of speaking to us right here, right now. If you're curious to learn more about the basics of making sense of scripture, discuss how and why the Bible is or isn't relevant in our lives, and reflect together on the ways God might be speaking to us in our current time, this group is for you. Tuesdays @ 6:00pm (Nov. 10,17,24)
