Ronald McDonald House Orange County has just reopened after expanding from 20 to 44 guest rooms! Now with the capacity to serve 5,000 guests a year, they're looking for volunteers to provide comfort, care and support for families with children receiving life-saving treatment in local hospitals. Whether it's as an individual or a group, learn more about their mission, charity, and opportunities to make an impact - sign up for their upcoming Volunteer Info Session on Saturday, October 12, at 10:30am. Email their Volunteer Coordinator, Sara Tamayo, at stamayo@rmhcsc.org to secure your spot today!"

My Fellow Lions:
This year I am so pleased to welcome an Associate District Chaplain. By way of introduction, he is Lion Michael Farrar. He has been a Lion since 2018 and has served as a Director, Vice President and is currently serving as President of the Garden Grove Host Lions Club. He has served as the District’s Environmental Chair for the last two years and informs me he is very excited to be serving as Associate District Chaplain this year.
He and his wife Debbie have been married for over 23 years and have a 14 year old son Nick, who is a Freshman at Beckman High School in Irvine. Michael and his family live in Tustin and both he and Debbie work in Irvine. He is in the Real Estate and Title Business and Debbie works at IT/HR for a global company. He loves having quality family time and enjoys all of the amenities that life has to offer. He is also the family’s token conspiracy theorist.
Michael is an ordained wedding officiant and has studied in ministry and chaplaincy for the last five years, with a home church in Placentia.
Thank you Michael for coming on board with me, I am looking forward to working with you.
INSPIRATION: I love an everyday religion that works for me: Love yourself first and everything else falls into line.
Yours in Service,
PDG Judy
District Chaplain
