WOW it is December already and Christmas and the New year is just around the corner.
We have two very important events coming up in January. One is the Melvin Jones Luncheon scheduled for January 12, 2025 at Knotts Berry Farm Hotel. The price is $55 per person. Deadline is December 15, 2024. Also, any Club presenting a Melvin Jones at the luncheon, please have your recipients bios to the following by December 31, 2024. Secretary.district4L4@gmail.com. The other event that is happening this same day is the Orange County Korean Club’s Rise for Hunger Food Project. For those of you that may not be going to the Melvin Jones Luncheon, please sign up for this service project.
On January Saturday, January 25, 2025, will be our 3rd Membership Meeting. Please mark your calendar now. Details are in the Wrap.
Your District team would like to thank all of the Clubs that participated in the Military Bags Service Project. Way to go, District 4l4. We were able to fill 1,000 bags this year. Please remember our military, and those that are not feeling well doing this holiday season.
I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday season and stay safe.

ORANGE COUNTY KOREAN AMERICAN LIONS - RISE AGAINST HUNGER PROJECT
Come join the Orange Country Korean American Lion's Club on January 12th (beginning 1pm) at Los Coyotes Country Club for a fun and meaningful afternoon of laughter, banging gongs, physical activity while packing 30,000 food packs to be sent to hungry children in 2025. OCKA Lion's Club is looking for about 120 volunteers to help pack the dry food so it can be shipped to feed hungry children in needy countries under the Food for Hunger campaign. Bring your spouses/partners, family members, children and friends. It is both a fun and meaningful activity and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
