L4 Lions,
Lions Clubs are all about service, first and foremost. I love the feeling that comes with being one-on-one with our community to make it a better place.
My home club in Buena Park participated in a city event called “Cops ‘n Goblins” recently which offered a safe place for local children to trick or treat, dress up, play games and party with others in the neighborhood. It’s a simple project (but attended by 1200 plus locals), well organized
and city supported, but it’s together with our neighbors, and fosters a togetherness that’s difficult to replicate. We all talk, share, laugh and enjoy watching our local children have a genuine blast!
Let’s think about some grass-roots service right where we live. Need ideas or some helping hands, please contact the District Service Chairperson Lion Mike or any of your district officers.
We are better together.

Dear family, friends, and colleagues of David,
As many of you have already heard, we are devastated to let you know that our dad, David Stilwell, passed away on Wednesday, November 13 from a severe brain hemorrhage. David’s sudden passing has left a big hole in our hearts. Anyone who knows him knows that he loved his family and friends, and believed in living his life to the fullest.
1. You are cordially invited to his celebration of life, which is scheduled for Monday, December 2 from 11am to 3pm at Vellano Estates (2441 Vellano Club Dr, Chino Hills, CA 91709). The invitation is attached to this email as a PDF file.
2. We request that you add photos that show your fondest memories with him through the link below.
