LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL FUNDING

     GOES OVER THE TOP

 We Are At 188%....Do I Hear 200%?

It is wonderful being the Lions Club International Foundation Coordinator in a District such as 4L4 where they believe strongly in the motto that many of us have heard over and over: Giving is Good!

And our giving this Lion year is very good, generous, and once again, over the top! LCIF set a goal for us of $29,580...and we have now raised over $55,000, putting us at 188% of our goal.

But help me out here please...wouldn't 200% of goal be great!

What we need from clubs and individuals, before June 15th, is

$3500.  I think we can do it. I know we can do it.

District 4L4 has a great reputation for being one of the strongest

and best multiples. Let's give them another reason to think so!

Join 1st International Vice President Dr. Patti Hill for an entertaining, uplifting, and inspiring show that highlights the impact that Lions International has in the world. Featuring celebrity guest appearances, live entertainment, and stories of service from all around the world!

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE UPDATE

Ronald McDonald House Orange County is built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on the health of their child – not where they will stay, their next meal or transportation to and from the hospital and/or appointments.

OTHER WAYS YOUR CLUB CAN HELP RONALD MC DONALD HOUSE

The House is still under construction (and currently housing families in a hotel) but there are still opportunities to

support the house. They are in need of many items including gift cards to offer to the families. Please see the attached Wish List.

They are also looking for clubs to fill snack bags for the families to offer convenient items to snack on while they are in

the hotel. Please see the attached Snack Bag Flyer.

There is also the opportunity for clubs to bring a family style, catered meal to the hotel on Mondays, Wednesdays or

Fridays.

And you can keep collecting your pull tabs. The House is not currently accepting pull tabs so please hold on to them for

now. Or they may also be donated to another House location.

EZSR

EZ Service Report for 4L4

We are excited to roll out our NEW and EASY way that ANYONE can report service projects in your clubs! The new tool is called EZSR which means Easy Service Reports. Any Lion can go

to the EZSR link and report the service project details including name, date and number of people and hours served. Any projects reported to EZSR will be credited directly to your club,

no need for your club Secretary or Administrator to report to MyLion, it’s already done! Please share the link and scan code to all of your club service project chairs and members to ensure

your service gets COUNTED! We will share printed promotional items at our first District meeting on August 6 so you can promote this new tool! Let’s work together to meet our district

goal of 100% reporting in 4L4! Together We Can!
