Political analyst and strategist Rachel Bitecofer posted today on her Substack: “Polls are the noise, election results are the signal. Keep calm and listen to the signal.” The signal tells us Democrats are on a winning streak because of activists just like you.

We hope you’re having a happy holiday season, connecting with friends and family, and getting some R&R! You so deserve it after an incredible year of hard work: the new Democrats you helped register fueled so many victories this year, from the Wisconsin Supreme Court to the Kentucky governor race, from the Ohio abortion vote to a full sweep in Virginia that blocked a GOP abortion ban.

As you recharge your battery, you can go over the list below like a star student savoring a brand-new course catalog… and pick where you’d most like to help for primary season in the new year! There's a lot on the line: primaries in battleground states will determine the shape of the Presidential, Senate and House races. Here are some of the key races to focus on and deadlines to keep in mind.

ARIZONA: the goal is to hold the White House, elect Ruben Gallego (D) to replace Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I), and flip 3 key GOP House Districts. Dates to remember:

• Presidential Primary Election - 3/19/2024
• Voter Registration Deadline - 2/20/2024

CALIFORNIA: we need to flip five GOP House Districts and hold at least one key Dem seat to take back the House. Dates to remember:

• State & Presidential Primary Election - 3/5/2024
• Voter Registration Deadline - 2/19/24

NORTH CAROLINA: Biden lost it by 1 point, but we can win in 2024 to take back the White House. Dates to remember:

• Presidential Primary Election - 3/5/2024
• Voter Registration Deadline - 2/9/2024

PENNSYLVANIA: Biden won here by only 1 point, and we need it to hold the White House. We need to re-elect Sen. Bob Casey (D) to hold the Senate, and we need to hold 3 House seats and flip another to take back the House. Dates to remember:

• State & Presidential Primary Election - 4/23/2024
• Voter Registration Deadline - 4/8/2024

WISCONSIN: Maybe the most critical swing state, where Biden won by only .6%. And we need to re-elect Sen. Tammy Baldwin to hold the Senate. Dates to remember:

• Presidential Primary Election - 4/12/2024
• Voter Registration Deadline - 3/23/2024

But right now, the most important date? Is the expiration date on your eggnog. Hey, we've lost too many good soldiers that way. If that checks out, let's raise a glass: here's to noggin' it out of the park in '24!
