JANUARY 2026 LETTER
It is essential for us as believers to live by faith. Why? Because we are spiritual people, faith is required to live a life pleasing to God. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6) We are not governed by the system of this world, nor by the five senses, but by the spirit of God, because we are citizens of the Kingdom, and faith is required! For this reason, our gaze must always and only be on the Lord. So what we see is not reality as it truly is. Because we are governed by the system of the Kingdom of God, and our eyes see through His word, His truth, and God's promises. This is our foundation for seeing things in light of the truth of His word! His word is our foundation, grounded in the truth of His word, and our evidence! When we embrace this truth, we begin to see things very differently from what we see with our physical eyes. To reach this place of foundation, it is necessary to know Him personally through His word. Walking by faith is living in accordance with the truth of God's word. The moment we have this reality established in our hearts and lives, we live a life of victory after victory.
We do not see the Lord physically; we experience Him through His word. When we read His word, we experience Him. It is not necessary to feel something. His word should be enough for us. Don't wait to feel something to walk by faith, because you will never feel it. To walk by faith requires obedience. We obey His word because we have faith in the word of God to walk and live according to it.
It is essential to keep our gaze completely and solely on the Lord so that our faith does not diminish. Trust in the Lord at all times. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Since we live by faith and not by sight, do not look to the right or to the left, but keep your eyes focused on Him. Proverbs 4:25-27 Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. 26 Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.
Whatever you are going through, focus your gaze on the Lord. In this world, we will have tribulations, but just as Jesus overcame, so will we. John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
That is why it is important to focus your gaze and not be distracted by what you see. Declare His word in whatever circumstances you find yourself. Open your mouth and declare His word; remember that we live and walk by faith and not by sight!
Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
