Dear LIVE Olympic Project Applicants,
Over the past two weeks, we have been evaluating the hundreds of applications we received for the LIVE Olympic Project. We have received many outstanding applications from great students around the globe.
Many of you have received your acceptance notification and Welcome Packet, we encourage you to secure your volunteer position by signing the Volunteer Agreement and paying your initial deposit by Friday, January 8th. If your deposit is not received by January 8th your volunteer position may be offered to someone currently on our Waiting List.
If you have not received an acceptance notification as of today you are on the Waiting List. There is a good possibility many of those currently on the Waiting List will be offered volunteer positions.
We will begin accepting volunteers from the Waiting List as soon positions become available. We expect the entire team to be confirmed by the end of January.
To sum up:
- If you have received your Acceptance Email please secure your volunteer position as instructed in the email and Welcome Packet.
- If you have not yet received an Acceptance Email, don't despair, we will be sending out another round of acceptances in January and you still might be accepted.
Thank all of you for your interest in the project and your patience as we go through this process. It has been an uplifting experience reading through the applications and learning about your lives and your participation in a great variety of inspiring volunteer experiences.
