We will accept cash and in-kind donations to benefit the movement led by the Sioux (Lakota) people of the Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota. Indigenous communities and allies from around the country and world have converged at Standing Rock, land owned by Native Americans, to stand up for water protection, indigenous rights, human rights, culture and environmental and social justice. Protectors are saying no to the Dakota Access Pipeline and its poisoning of water supplies and destruction of sacred lands. They are protecting the world's environment and future in the face of violent state and corporate-sponsored repression. Funds raised will be donated to the Oceti Sakowin Camp and to send local indigenous people, organized through the Cayuga Lake Water Protectors, to join the resistance and solidarity effort.
