The company is opening new offices in Miami, Florida and also expanding offices in other parts of the state.
La Jolla Pacific of Florida, Inc, (dba LJP Construction Services) was incorporated in 2006 and has experienced steady growth in new construction projects. The 27-year-old company plans to meet the demand from developers, general contractors and homebuilders, including single family, multifamily and condo builders alike, said Don Neff, President, LJP Construction Services. LJP provides pre-construction, during-construction and post-construction services for builders, developers, and contractors. Specifically, this includes a variety of integrated Quality Assurance services encompassing peer reviews of architectural/engineering plans for compliance with Chapter 558 standards of care, preventative waterproofing consulting, SWPPP storm water quality compliance inspections, insurance required construction progress inspections and special/deputy inspections designed for raising project quality and lender’s/investor’s funding request inspections, as well as providing preventative maintenance manuals for HOAs and homeowners, for example, to reduce the risks of deferred maintenance and resulting construction defect litigation.
LJP is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Building Association of South Florida, a Charter Member of the Multi-Family Council of the Florida Home Builders Association and a new member of the South Florida Chapter of the AGC.
“Given the growth in construction defect litigation and Chapter 558 claims, we believe the Florida construction market provides great opportunities for us to bring our products, services and expertise to assist the development and building industry in raising the quality of their projects. In parallel with this growth to handle the additional workload, LJP will be hiring new employees in different markets around the state.
