Greetings,

I don’t really like the word “done” because it reminds me of the definition.

Merriam-Webster definition:  1.  Arrived at or brought to an end.  2.  Doomed to

failure, defeat or death.

It is not my verb of choice, but it is a wildly powerful word.

It’s simple. Let people know when you did something. Let people know when

something is done. Finished. Accomplished. Closed out. Crossed off. Done.  I

think we all feel are DONE with COVID.  COVID is not done.  We have learned a

lot from this:  pivoting the business, creativity, finally embracing new technology.

Business and Community Leaders we are NOT DONE.  It’s the revolution of

development for Leadville and Lake County.  We have so many opportunities for balanced growth that future of Leadville depends on.  Help us with your thoughts for preserving the past and embracing the future. Please reach out to us with your ideas!

Offer health insurance benefits to your employees tax-free!

Join us on June 29th to learn about how businesses of any size can offer plans with more savings, cost control, and choice than traditional group plans.

Peak Health Alliance is introducing a whole new way for businesses of any size to be able to offer health insurance to their employees in 2021! ICHRAs (pronounced ‘ICK-rah’) enable an employer to contribute a set amount to their employee’s health insurance premiums—tax-free! Employers decide the amount they wish to contribute, to full-time or part-time employees, while the employee gets to shop for and choose any individual marketplace plan that fits their and their family’s needs.

This helps keep cost controls in place for the employer, while the employee gets the security of a comprehensive health insurance plan with the flexibility and choice that traditional group plans simply do not offer.

Workplace Succession/Employee Development Webinar - JOIN US!

Succession planning is a process for identifying and developing internal people with the potential to fill key business leadership positions in the company. Succession planning increases the availability of experienced and capable employees that are prepared to assume these roles as they become available. Taken narrowly, "replacement planning" for key roles is the heart of succession planning and aids in employee retention. Because of its importance for the business and its continuity, succession planning must be an ongoing process that is part of the business’s overall talent management strategy.

Key elements:

  • Systematic process that will focus on key organization roles
  • Alignment between strategy and talent
  • Ensuring business and leadership continuity by:
  • Aligning business needs with talent development
  • General talent and leadership development
  • Short-term and long-term goals
