🎨 The Creative Corner Spotlight

Dri from Annville-Cleona School District is our featured student this month, and for good reason—she is a gymnast with incredible dedication and passion! When Dri first walked past a gymnastics facility five years ago, she had no idea it would spark a love for the sport that would shape her life.

Today, she spends 15 hours a week training, perfecting her skills, and preparing for competitions that happen about once a month during the winter season.

Her favorite events are floor and vault, where she combines power, grace, and creativity. On the floor, Dri loves expressing herself through movement and choreography, while vault challenges her speed and precision. But gymnastics isn’t just about favorite events—it’s about pushing limits. One of the toughest skills she’s conquered so far is the giant on bars, a move that requires strength, timing, and courage.

Her ultimate dream? Reaching Level 10 gymnastics—one of the highest competitive levels in the Junior Olympic program! Level 10 gymnasts perform advanced skills on all four events and create their own routines with high difficulty and artistry. It’s a level that requires incredible dedication and technical mastery, and Dri is determined to get there.

Gymnastics has taught Dri more than flips and tricks—it’s taught her perseverance, confidence, and the joy of expressing herself through athletic artistry. Dri says, “I really love gymnastics and expressing myself!” And it shows. Whether she’s soaring through the air on a vault or tumbling across the floor, Dri reminds us that passion and hard work can take you to incredible heights.

Online Learners Explore Science at the North Museum of Nature and Science!

Our recent learner engagement event at the North Museum was an exciting journey into the world of science, nature, and technology! Our online Learners engaged in interactive learning that sparked curiosity and deepened understanding.


• Hands-On Science Exploration: Learners discovered fascinating concepts in geology, biology, and other fields through interactive exhibits that brought science to life.

• Journey Through the Universe: The planetarium experience transported students into space, where they explored stars, planets, and galaxies, gaining a new appreciation for the wonders of the universe.

• Collaborative Connections: Students asked questions, shared ideas, and participated in group discussions, building knowledge and connections in a fun, engaging environment.
