As we enter the new year, it's the perfect time to refresh our study habits and set ourselves up for success. Let's start the year strong and achieve our learning goals together!


Create a Dedicated Study Space

  • Find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions
  • Choose a location with good lighting and a comfortable chair


Set a Study Schedule

  • Plan specific times for studying each day
  • Keep track of assignments and deadlines


Break Down Tasks

  • Divide larger tasks into smaller, manageable chunks
  • Take short breaks throughout the day


Stay Organized

  • Keep your study materials and notes well-organized
  • Use folders, binders, and digital tools to keep your materials organized


Active Learning

  • Engage with the material through discussions, practice problems, and teaching others.
  • Use flashcards, summaries, and mind maps to reinforce learning.


Engage Actively in Online Classes

  • Engage in online forums and class discussions to deepen your understanding
  • Don’t hesitate to ask questions

Learner Engagement News

LLVS Online Learners had the opportunity to explore the engineering design process and learn how scientists and engineers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center use it to solve problems.

This was an online event so there is no video for this event!

Online learners participated in an engaging and educational wildlife program presented by Raven Ridge Wildlife Center. The event provided a unique opportunity for students to learn about various wildlife species, including the Eastern Box Turtles, Skunks, Falcons, Hawks, and Black Vultures. They learned about each species' habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.

LLVS Online Learners had the opportunity to tour the Fulton Theatre. The tour shared with the learners Fulton's rich history and offered a glimpse into how today's staff of artists and administrators create the theatre's productions today. Participants were able to tour various parts of the Fulton Theatre.

Upcoming Events

LLVS Online Learners will receive an overview presentation from NASA on their current missions.

LLVS Online Learners will visit the PA College of Art and Design Campus for a college overview and a walking tour.


After the tour of the PA College of Art and Design campus, online learners can tour the Rock Lititz facility. (The tour of Rock Lititz will begin around 12:45 p.m. and will be open to all K-12 Learners.)

Join us for a morning of fun, strategy, and camaraderie as we celebrate the joy of board games. Bring along your favorite board game to share. Make new friends and strengthen your connections within our online learning community.

Sign up for the Reptile Invasion event to learn about 25-30 reptiles rescued by the Reptile Invasion. (This event is open to all online learners K-12.)


Online learners will learn about the importance of reptile care, past decisions that have affected the future of reptiles, diversity in the reptile world, and, most importantly, how each reptile has a unique personality.


After the presentation, students will get some hands-on time with each reptile and will have the opportunity to ask questions.
