Pandemic Fix to Open Meeting Law Heads to Governor’s Desk
The bill would allow elected officials to continue attending in-person meetings from home for medical reasons.

Conference Committees Convene for Final Weeks of Legislative Session
Most of the activity at the Legislature over the next two weeks will occur in conference committees as the House and Senate work to resolve their differences.
Broadband Funding Proposals to Be Considered by Agriculture Conference Committee
Both bills include much-needed broadband funding as cities across the state continue working to develop reliable broadband access.
Conference Committee Begins Work on Omnibus Workforce and Business Development Bill
The conference committee must reconcile substantial differences in the House and Senate versions of the bill, which both contain provisions of interest to cities.
Apply by June 4 to Serve on the LMC Board of Directors
League members will elect a president, a first vice president, a second vice president, and at least four directors on June 24.
