Los Medanos College Ranked the #6 Best Community College!!

LMC ranks _6 in the nation

Los Medanos College has been ranked the #6 Community College in the nation by College Choice in their list of "50 Best Community Colleges for 2016-2017."

LMC also came in as #2 in California, and is the only northern California Community College to make the list.

College Choice , an independent online publication, considered several factors, including tuition, retention, and graduation rates, credentials awarded, and diversity factors.

Los Medanos College President Bob Kratochvil commented, "This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our faculty, staff and students. We are proud of our success in improving the quality of life for our students, while enhancing our communities and our economy."

Adding classes with Late Add Codes
If the fall class you want is already full, or you are wait listed  when it starts, you will need to go to the class on the day and time your class begins. If the instructor adds you to the roster, you will be given a Late Add Code. Only instructors have Late Add Codes, so you will need to go to class to request one.  If it is an online class that you wish to add, you must email the instructor the day the class begins and request a Late Add Code that way.  You will then use the Late Add Code in WebAdvisor in order to enroll in the course.  For full-term courses, the last day to add is August 25, so be sure to be properly enrolled by that day.
