ADMISSIONS & RECORDS NEWS

Get Ready for Spring Semester!

Search for classes - we still have them
Your class schedule
As a reminder, you will receive an email, sent to your InSite email address, with your class schedule prior to the start of classes. This email will also list the drop dates for each class. Also when you log into your portal, your class schedule will show on the dashboard.

All official communication from the college goes to your InSite email account. You may forward your email to your personal email address through the InSite Portal.

Wait Listing  & Late Add Classes - Don't Miss Out!!
Once classes begin on January 20 (for Saturday and online classes) or January 22 (for full-term classes), you can no longer put your name on a wait list. You must then attend class to see if the instructor will let you in.

If the instructor lets you in, he/she will give you a Late Add Code. In WebAdvisor you will use "Late Registration (using Add Codes)" to register for your class. You must officially register by the last day to add classes. You do not need to stand in line if you have a Late Add Code. Always go to "My Class Schedule" (or check on the portal) to verify that the Late Add Code worked and you are officially enrolled in the class. It is your responsibility to make sure you are properly enrolled in the course by the deadline.

Graduation
If you applied for Fall 2017 graduation you have already been notified of your status. For those who complete academic requirements, diplomas will be mailed no later than February 15, 2018. Make sure your address is correct in WebAdvisor.

Students who are planning to apply for Spring 2018 graduation can apply once you have registered for classes. The deadline to apply is March 1. Please be sure to see your counselor to make sure you are ready to graduate. You can also review your progress in Student Planning through the InSite Portal.

Early Graduation Petition for Summer 2018 Graduation
Beginning January 15th, you can submit an early petition for graduation if you plan to complete your academic requirements in Summer 2018.  By applying one semester early, you can get an early registration appointment for Summer to ensure you can get into the last classes you need for graduation. For more information review the Graduation Policies page on the website. If you will want to walk in the Spring 2018 commencement ceremony, you may fill out an additional form in mid-April. Watch the website for more details.
