All of the weeks events are opportunities to connect with new people, learn about some of the resources LMC has to offer, and they'll be giving away free food and beverages, too!

ASSESSMENT CENTER UPDATE

Important Assessment Announcement
The Los Medanos College Assessment Center would like to announce changes in the placement process. In compliance with the newly enacted Assembly Bill 705, which requires that students have the opportunity to enter and complete transfer-level coursework in English and math within a one-year timeframe, students will receive a placement by completing the Multiple Measures self-reported placement (MMAP). The MMAP takes into account: high school GPA, course completion, and a student's academic needs.

Beginning January 25, the Assessment Center will no longer be administering Math and English Accuplacer Assessments. ESL Accuplacer Assessments are still available.

If you would like more information regarding AB705, please visit the California Community Colleges Website. If you have any questions regarding LMC's Assessment Process you may view the Assessment Center web page or visit the Assessment Center, located in room SS3-314.
