This month we are beginning a segment to highlight some of LOA’s services along with the impact it has in our community and the lives of our seniors. Most people think of LOA as Meals on Wheels; however, it takes all of LOA’s wrap around services to enable seniors to remain in their homes for as long as possible.
This month we are highlighting two of LOA’s in home services:
- Homemaker provides routine housekeeping and home management tasks like sweeping, mopping, dusting.
- Personal Care provides certified nurse aides and home care aides who provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating and toileting.
95% of seniors desire to remain in their own home for as long as possible.
